Does anyone do that? Is this a stim? It is something I tend to do constantly and if it is a styling at least it is one you can do easily in public and no one would notice.

I always shake my feet in bed. It gives me a really comfortable feeling in my legs and back.

When sitting with my leg crossed I wag my foot.

Yes, one of my stimms. A really useful one because it is discrete. It is a bit line a cat swishing their tail. I noticed I was doing it aot, and also bouncing my leg a lot when being social in a very loud restaurant on holiday with my mother this summer. Also while listening to a track which I loved.

I do it often, mostly with my left foot.

All of the time, constantly. Yes, it's a stim.

Everyone notices, they just don't say anything.

Unless you're sitting on a bench and shaking the whole thing for everyone. Then someone might say something.

It's my main stim when I'm anxious.

Oh I definitely do that. I won't notice that I'm doing it and my wife will tease me that I'm shaking the entire table or floor. I'll tap just my big toe if I have to be discreet. Other times I plant my toes on the ground and my whole leg bounces. If there's music playing I'll tap out the beat with the front of my foot. If I'm barefoot I'll snap my toes. If I'm sitting cross legged, my suspended foot will be shaking in mid air. My foot stims have many forms :D

That is exactly what I have there.

Sometimes if I am barefoot I put both feet together and spin them around.

This is a recurring topic. Many people here do that. It can be related to autism but not necessarily so.

FWIW, I shake my legs. I do that rapidly, to the point of harming my joints.

Yup, I do that too. I have always considered leg shaking and foot wagging a nervous energy type thing than a stim.

I do that when anxious. It seems to help a little. It had not occurred to me it's a stim. Duh! You learn something new on this site about yourself all the time.

Yes, most people seem to do that when they feel anxious. Me, I do that all the time... maybe I'm always anxious or the shaking has a completely different cause.
