Animal therapy of any kind-those used specifically for therapy and pets as well

No pets as Christmas present! Adopting a pet is a big decision that needs to be thought over and discussed in detail before. An autistic child can benefit from animal therapy but they can also have sensory issues that make them very uncomfortable next to animals. Better be sure which is the case before taking any step in that direction.

Special interest related. Christmas presents I remember the most from my childhood included a microscope and a pair of binoculars.

Don't worry that the gifts aren't "age appropriate" - that is to say, the gift is something recommended for young children and not normally seen as something for teens and young adults. If your kid is 15 and loves dolls or stuffed animals, get them dolls or stuffed animals. If they love Disney movies, get them Disney movies. All that matters is that they enjoy it.

And not all autistic kids totally want Pokemon. What may interest one autistic person may bore or insult another autistic person. Because we're like, you know, people?

It comes in multiple colors not just the one on the the page. There are more details if you read the description.

I have a really bad problem telling if people are joking are not. Especially on the internet. :(

Thanks, I think that they have one of theses already. I spent a day going and collecting a swing which they can sit on facing each other and put it up, that's my present this year.
