Within the privacy of his own home and if it doesn’t bother the rest of the family, then it is fine. He needs to wear clothes in public. It would probably be better if he could learn to tolerate shorts.

All cotton sweat shorts might be tolerated.

This is assuming there are no young girls and no sexual stuff going on in the home.

This is not that unusual.

One sign of a troll is that not many replies are offered.

Most of the time, posts inserted for shock value receive no replies from the Original Poster.

It doesn’t mean this person is a troll.

But it would be nice if he responded, if he is able.

If this is genuine, they need to look into getting some social services.

They shouldn’t have to be bathing him 8-14 times a day. That wouldn’t be good for his skin.

Putting specific boundaries and expectations in place rather than letting him do whatever he wants would be good for everyone.

The only thing that stands out to me in the OP's post is the 100,000 onesies , it seems contradictory. Apart from that different strokes for different folks

Any person who is severely disabled needs structure and love.

To be allowed to run rampantly like that is not good for anybody.

Reading this guy's other posts I wonder if his motivation is simply one of desperation.

If they have structure and routine in place, they might find that his problem behaviors will lessen.

At the very least, it’ll reduce the overall stress in the household.

I feel like I'm reading a different post , I don't see stress or desperation

He has a previous thread...from December, 2018.

He seemed resigned, rather than desperate.

No mistake on your part. I was just sharing where I got the info.

A lot of what was written in the OP's first post doesn't make much sense to me who started out as a high maintenance level 3 and knows of many level 3's and how they are cared for and managed, especially considering this one is supposed to be 26. So unless the OP does some splainin I'm calling BS.

Nobody would let anybody run rampant like that. The house would be ransacked.

Well there's all that and then stuff like giving him 8-14 baths a day. He's always naked but also being toilet trained. He would be wearing a diaper all the time of course if he wasn't toilet trained. And of course if someone isn't toilet trained way before 26 it isn't going to happen.

Buuuut then again there's the 6 brain surgeries so who knows? Needless to say just having autism has nothing to so with getting brain surgery. Especially several brain surgeries. So who knows what the heck is actually going on.

I prefer to be clothed in comfortable, functional clothing, even in the privacy of my own apartment. There are a lot of windows in it, and even with curtains and blinds I still don't feel completely safe.

Also when you sit on things while naked, you leave disgusting and germy bodily fluids on it, or more so, anyway. :eew:

I grew up in a country where being seen naked or nearly naked (other than one's romantic partner), is very embarrassing and even frightening. Although I don't think it's as insane as it is in the US.

We, in the US, are very much like the above.

We are very prudish when it comes to nudity.

Culture makes a huge difference - I was back in Sweden (public nudity legal) recently and some guy crossed the hotel lobby towards the sauna stark naked with a towel on his shoulder. We don't necessarily do this usually but nobody will get their knickers in a twist either. A couple of Anglo tourists were having full-blown hysterics over it though.

I dislike both extremes: I don't make a point in showing my arse to people even where it's legal but I don't think it's healthy to see being naked as shameful, dirty and frightening either.
