How to smile without looking as though you came first in a weird facial expression contest .

I’m no model, either....

I’ve always hated having my picture taken.

So what, I don't like the way I appear visually?

"Most people" are not physically attractive either

Based on my standards

What is the point of smiling?

Happiness is overrated

Happiness is not magic

Happiness is not even superior to sadness

Attention! You are now smiling manually.

I don't always have this problem.
Except I usually don't like it when someone wants to take a picture of me. Seriously. Especially not if said picture taker likes the social media. In other words, I'm just very unwilling.


There are rare times I really felt like getting along with it.
I do know how to 'smile' without the need of twitching my lips or show a tooth along with it.
It's on the eyes they say, only because it is how I want to show it and it really came from within me without any effort to 'alter' my face.

As long as I would, and as long as I do have enough levels of emotional regulation when there are other emotions to handle beforehand, I know how to 'channel' certain emotions from memory without a need to fake an expression or draw from any external source.
When I do this, I literally can feel certain tensions on the eyes along with what emotion I 'channel' into.

And I hate mirror for the same reason

unfortunately i had the luck of having a mother whose hobby is photography and favorite subject her kids...

many people are not photogenic
