What makes you think you might be?

Remember there are different types of inteligence so you are not stupid just because you can't do some things if you are also capable of doing other things very well.

People (or even you yourself) might call you "stupid" if you can't do what others consider easy but look at all the stuff that are easy for you but difficult for them, even if it doesn't seem to matter.
You can't tie your shoes but can beat most of real opponents in a online game you play? You are not stupid, you simply can't tie your shoes.

You will only be stupid if there is literally nothing you are good at.

Most NTs have strengths and weaknesses. Aspies in general have great strengths and great weaknesses. In order to compensate for their weaknesses, one needs to learn how to use the strengths to cover over the weaknesses. Develop your strengths.

This question "How do I know if I'm stupid?" reminds me of something. It is the echo of a schoolchild being told by his/per peers that they are stupid. It rattles around the brain back and forth and finally the young schoolchild begins to doubt themselves and their abilities.

I remember back in my younger days that I was bullied.

One day when I was in the hallway of my 6th grade school, I was surrounded by a group of boys. They asked me what my nationality was. I sensed danger and said nothing. They looked at me. I was small and had large ears. They decided I was Japanese. I said nothing.

For the next three years, I was told every Japanese joke ever invented. Whenever they threw a joke my way, I maintained a stone cold face. That was a little hard to do sometimes because I wasn’t Japanese and a few of the jokes were actually a little funny. But if I showed any emotion, the jig was up.

To this day, if they are still alive, I wonder if they remember the little Japanese boy that went to their school. And I am still chuckling deep inside. That is my quirky sense of humor.

Now if I were Japanese, every one of their jokes would have been a dagger to the heart. And it also made me somewhat immune to any other criticisms they leveled in my direction. If they called me stupid, an idiot, a klutz, an imbecile; I knew deep inside I really wasn’t because I was pulling the wool right over their eyes and they didn’t even realize it. This almost made me bulletproof from psychological abuse.

Something that makes sense in what you wrote. You write about pulling the wool over their eyes. That is how I feel in regards to the masking I often do to fit into a type of schooling or a college enviroment. I would act thick and I would learn so much as no one noticed I was actually intelligent, so they would say things compketely unaware that I was able to see into all their situations and get to know things. I took making to the next level!

How do I know If I'm stupid?

Stupid people are unlikely to ask this question.

Stupidity is more than just low intelligence. It also comprises aspects of moral deficiency such as a lack of wisdom and discernment. In addition, there are character components of foolishness, obstinacy, and even maliciousness.

For example, the fictional character Forrest Gump might have had a low IQ. but would not generally be seen as stupid.

You're stupid if you don't know you're stupid.

You're smart if you can conceive of the possibility that you are stupid.

Source: This Psychology Today Article

Do you do any of these?

• Appearing weird.  Bizarre, too fashion-forward outfits, lots of piercings, tattoos, etc.  Of course, some brilliant people are visually unusual, but most people feel that avant-garde appearance doesn't appear intelligent.

• Buying items that clearly aren't worth the money, especially if you're not rich: Coach purses, Rolex watches, BMWs and Jags, expensive jewelry, etc.

• Frequently using a vague phrase instead of a specific, for example, I like boating, camping, and stuff."

• Insisting on following the rules with too few exceptions.  Intelligent people weigh the risk/reward of breaking a rule on a case-by case basis and consider possible alternatives.

• Insisting you're correct in response to a more intelligent counter.  In such situations, it's tempting to defend your position (and self-esteem) but your listener(s) may well think you're too stupid or stubborn to realize the other person's position is smarter.

• Make basic grammatical errors.  "I don't worry about nothing."  "He sings good."  "He was not hardly finished."

• Make black-and-white statements when gray is required.  That's especially dangerous when you're not an expert.  But even if you are, more often than not, nuance is required.  For example, it's risky to say, "This is right."  Safer: "While I've seen cases in which this is wrong, for example, X, usually it's right." Of course, there are times to be definitive.  Just be sure the risk/reward ratio is good.

• Mispronounce words, for example, "heighth" instead of "height," "nucular" instead of "nuclear," "excetera" instead of "et cetera," "irregardless" instead of "regardless," "jewlery" instead of "jewelry", "Febyouary" instead of "February", "libary" instead of "library," "duck tape" instead of "duct tape," 'aks" instead of "ask."

• Notably spending a lot of time and money on appearance.  Smart people generally think, "If you're devoting that much to your wrapping, you may be trying to hide the product inside, or at least that you use your time and money poorly.  Facebook's Mark Zuckerberg famously explained why he usually wears the same gray tee shirt: "I really want to clear my life, so I have to make as few decisions as possible about anything except how to best serve this community,"

• Rambling utterances.  Smart people are usually concise and when speaking for longer than a minute, make the structure of their utterance clear, and they don't ramble off-topic.

• Saying you believe in fate, for example, "It was meant to be."  "Things happen for a reason."  "Maybe it's a sign."

• Smoke tobacco.  Today, not only is smoking clearly dangerous, it's become uncool.  So anyone who smokes in the face of that is widely viewed as less than Einsteinian.

• Sound cock-sure of yourself when you often turn out to be wrong.  Consider your track record.  Are you often enough right or at least defensible?

• Starting a written message with, "My name is."  Your first sentence is your first impression.  Leading with "My name is..." is far from optimal.  First, it seems a bit narcissistic -- Your name isn't of great interest.  Worse, it's redundant.  Your name appears at the end of the message and, in an email, in its "From" line.

• Substance abuse.  Sure, many people will smile at the drunk or pothead, but most intelligent people privately think you're not smart for abusing a substance.

• Talk about your superstition, for example, you think black cats are bad luck, Friday the 13th is dangerous, or that our fate is written in the stars.

• You admit to seeing a psychic, using tarot cards, talk about your astrological sign or horoscope, and/or that you believe in past lives.

• You gush about pop culture: adoring a celebrity, sitcom, or sports team.

I didn't get a cool picture. But I got only "15 percent stupid" (only 15 percent got smarter scores). Three percent equal, and 82 percent got dumber scores . So...Im okay with the test.

Acknowledging that you are ignorant and even stupid is a great way to face the world. The older I get, the dumber I feel.

To quote a great age: "Stupid is as Stupid does"
Forrest Gump

If you think you are stupid and do nothing to improve yourself, than you have a problem.
