i have sensory issues

There is, but I can't remember how.
I hope someone can post a reminder because the white is horrible for me as well.

Chrome OS doesnt have a dark mode, just night mode. So i flipped the colours, now its a black background and bright orange graphics and photos are all negatives. Very ugly!

Yeah, I tried something similar once and it was garish.

I have a phobia of orange and couldn't deal with that. I know there's another way to change it but I didn't love the other option either. I'll try to find out what it was.

Dark colours have too much contrast, and too much or little brightness makes it hard stay at the computer for long.
I notice WP has a blue background, and every time I've adjusted my laptop or set wallpaper I always end up using plain old windows blue, with brightness at around 50%. Anything else feels too busy. Do others find blue to be easiest on the eyes?

I have to keep my MacBook at the lowest light setting for WP, and even that bothers me.

I have a really hard time with illuminated white backgrounds but agree the dark contrast was too bright.

I like dark grey and sepia, and some shades of deep midnight blue.

My wallpaper and other backgrounds are always grey / black.



This has been my desktop picture, forever.

My screensaver - very dark too but still blue. I find it funny because I feel I'm the only around who prefers to be up all night. With covid I rarely go to sleep until between 5-10am.

I also use this one - still blue. Just me on my island - happiness.

The previous iteration of WrongPlanet was darker. And the text spanned the whole horizon.

I like the current iteration too. On Twitter I am using the dark mode.

Facebook is like WrongPlanet right now : no dark mode.

Im suprised an autism forum would use a sensory-harsh board appearance. It gives me headaches and would use more if it was more inclusive. Maybe there was no other options.

OH MY! I just got it installed too. Wow -- it's better but I wish it didn't have the orange.
I wonder if it can be customised?

Also if you have white adverts all over the place I'd recommend using an Ad Blocker.

I dont have the orange. Have you changed the appearance setting back to default on your pc so it doesnt clash with the app?

I'm on a Mac laptop.
It's still white on my iPhone but I seldom use my phone so I'll just leave it.
