Anyone else like wearing compression clothing for sensory purposes? I have quite a lot of sports compression clothing that I wear under my clothes or to sleep in. I find them quite calming and comfortable.

I do - especially if I have an important meeting to attend! Short running socks, tight tanks, I own an assortment of foot and wrist wraps - purchased when I actually ached but wear occasionally as a point to focus on. Arch support band is invisible and helps to keep my legs still.

I don't have any at the moment but I like Under Armour compression t-shirts and compression shorts.

No, I don't like compression clothing.

I love my weighted blanket and I'd love to have a weighted shawl or lap pad. I even like velcro wrist braces or splints (I had one for a wrist injury and loved keeping it really tight), but I don't like compression clothes.

I'm the complete opposite, I actually hate tight and compressed clothing. Just find that quite unbearable sensory wise.

Temple Grandin was a real innovator of clothes that literally simulate hugs
apparently some people with ASD find them really calming

I love compression clothing. It feels like my clothes are physically supporting me. I'm not really into hugs though.

I'd want some.
Where and how specifically, I'm not sure. I just do.

Just being aware of my inner senses seeking certain amount of weight, physical pressure and tightness overall for most of my life.

I don't like compression clothing. They show off too much of my body.

Compression clothes end up feeling itchy to me after awhile. It's a shame because I like the way they feel besides that. I generally just wear tight clothes. If I'm wearing something baggy, there's going to be something tight under them. I like the clinginess. I also like wearing wrist and ankle weights. I have a weighted vest too, but that thing just sits so wrong on me I can't tolerate it at all.

I have compression gloves, wrist support wrap, and sport compression calf sleeves, and open toed foot ones. When I go out I always wear footless dance tights or leggings and occasionally my compression gloves. The feeling calms me down. I dont like tight stuff around my torso though.

Generally not a fan of any compression stuff on my torso yet - I'll wear a backpack if I need weight there.

In fact, I only recently got compression sleeves. Jury's still out on how much they calm me, but I do like the feel enough at least.

We'll see about anything else later.
