Is it true that I am more likely to be in contact with the police and more likely to go to jail or prison if I sometimes behave abnormally? I am asking this, because I have Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD and Bipolar Disorder.

I am afraid if I do something bizarre, because if some of symptoms of Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD and Bipolar Disorder if I am outside on my own, the police might be called and I might go to jail or prison if there was a misunderstanding, because my social skills are not that good.

I am sometimes afraid to go outside on my own, because my behaviors are sometimes bizarre.

One of my friends who was quite far on the spectrum always looked really anxious and shifty -- the security guards of shops used to always check her bags and make sure she had a receipt... I think if you look suspicious anywhere then they are going to check you're not doing something weird because they are trained to look for people who look out of place.

I think if you wear the sunflower thing around your neck thats a good way to avoid it, she started doing that after a while.

Thank you!

It's just sometimes very annoying that I need to have this fear, because my social skills are not that great

Interesting fact:

The government study explained that there is no high risk in criminal behaviors in ASD compare to control group, but people with HFA are over represented in the criminal settings, because of abnormal behaviors.

There is another study that points out that most people with mental health and developmental disorders, unless you have conduct disorders are ten times more likely to be victims than being perpetrators compare to control group. But there were some studies that features related to High-functioning Autism increases the risk for criminality for having Both Theory of Mind deficits and a predilection for intense narrow interests, when coupled with deficient social awareness of salient interpersonal and social constraints on behavior, can result in criminal acts. That does NOT mean that you will commit crimes though just because you have Both Theory of Mind deficits and a predilection for intense narrow interests, when coupled with deficient social awareness of salient interpersonal and social constraints on behavior. In fact most people with ASD are ten times more likely to be victims than being criminals themselves, but when some of people with ASD do commit crimes, it is because they are frustrated at the world or don’t understand some laws related to lack of social skills or are scared at the world that are confusing to them.
