Since I've seen tone indicators used more often on other sites and forms of social media, I thought I'd post a list of some common ones. While they're helpful, they can ironically be a bit confusing sometimes and a list being available seems like a good idea.

/j = Joking
/hj = Half-joking
/s = Sarcasm
/gen or /g = Genuine
/srs = Serious
/nsrs = Not Serious
/pos or /pc = Positive connotation
/neu = Neutral connotation
/neg or /nc = Negative connotation
/p = Platonic
/r = Romantic
/c = Copypasta
/l or /ly = Lyrics
/lh = Light-hearted
/nm = Not mad
/nbh = Nobody here, often used when someone is "vagueposting" or venting about someone off-platform or offline
/sx or /x = Sexual intent
/nsx or /nx = Non-sexual intent
/rh or /rt = Rhetorical question
/t = Teasing
/ij = Inside joke
/m = Metaphorically
/li = Literally
/hyp = Hyperbole
/f = Fake
/th = Threat
/cb = Clickbait
/ref = Reference

So are these used during the original post or when people are responding or both?

And what is clickbait?

They're often used when the tone of something online is ambiguous, like when using sarcasm in a text or saying something nice/positive that when read can come off as condescending or something (like when the /gen and /pos indicators are often used). No one on here has to use them, but I thought this list would be helpful since I've noticed on other forms of social media people use them more and more, and they can make things even more confusing if you don't know what an indicator means.

Also, here's a link that explains what clickbait is, since I'm not good at explaining it.
