What do you think about AS/ADHD pairing?

I’ve heard this is actually quite common. I remember watching a video from a famous author on autism saying that women with AS are more likely to end up with an AS male than a neurotypical, and also more likely to pair with ADHD and Bipolar! It may work well because they may both share some ND traits but be complimentary opposites in other areas.

I'm Autism Spectrum Disorder, Level 1 (Mild) and my bride is ADHD.

We've been married for 22 years and want many, many more years together.

Our respective traits sometimes affect things though I think things have gone smoother since I retired...and was under less stress away from home.

I am ASD/ADHD (more ASD traits) and my fiance is ADHD and also has cerebral palsy.

We are very happy together, and still very much into each other. We have been together for 6 years.

I only recently rediscovered that I am autistic, having been in denial about my diagnosis for 14 years, and he said: "it doesn't change how I feel."
