Is there a difference between fluid and visual spatial intelligence IYO? I've had scores ranging from 67 to 154 on tests that are regarded as non-verbal. I'm OK at pattern recognition, but absolutely useless at mental rotation and 3x3 matrix.

I did think the poor mental rotation was due to (total) aphantasia ,but I have come across several people with it who are good/very good at it.

My ability to construct anything is poor. I've never been able to put a jigsaw puzzle together. That includes those aimed at children.

Probably. I have it exactly the other way, I "don't know how to look", as my family member described it, my visual recognition is very poor, but mental rotation of abstract elements is not a problem for me.
I have a problem with drawing things because I don't remember their visual representation, my mind instantly jumps to their other qualities like soft, hard, moving, etc.

^ Thanks for replying to what was probably regarded by most here as a stupid question.

I'm pretty good at pattern recognition, pretty useless at doing something like creating a block design based upon a picture.

There's no way I could create a block design!
