I'm a big fan of carbs and would be perfectly happy being able to eat rice, pasta, and baked potatoes all the time, but I'm doing keto (except I've been on an unhealthy food bender for over a month since my birthday ), so my thing I usually make for myself will be a combination of black beans, egg, maybe bacon or chicken, cheese, hot sauce, and sometimes will have onion, garlic, jalapenos, and maybe bell pepper or mixed veggies like frozen peas and carrots in it too.
So I guess my ideal comfort foods are carbs, but my diet comfort food is a mix of proteins and veggies and stuff.
