Burnout? Regression?

For the past couple of days I noticed I've been stuttering a lot more and have been having facial twitches. Yesterday I felt like I was losing balance as I was walking in the park.

Mom said she noticed I shake my hands (or stim) a lot more.

So what is it?

Dunno. Maybe you should get it checked out.

If you used to say...stutter, or have facial tics, years ago, and now you're doing it again, then you could call that particular symptom 'regressing'. Maybe you're under stress. And its an emotional thing.

But losing balance while walking? Sounds like a physical thing.

Like (I get the impression that you're too young for this, but) a mild stroke? Or something like that. Dont wanna scare you, but if it keeps on then get it checked out.

Could be the onset of a stroke or something. Just to be safe, you'd better see a doctor.

I was seen for a lot of the same symptoms 2 years ago. The neurologist had me do a brain MRI, but that turned up nothing. Likewise tests on my ears turned up no reasons for sudden balance problems. His basic cognitive prompts didn't indicate anything either. He had me referred to a neuropsychologist... I don't remember what happened then. Either I couldn't get an appointment, or I realized I'm going to be up against autism, and maybe I didn't want to seek diagnosis at that time. Or maybe I wanted to prepare. Don't remember anymore.

...do I want to be diagnosed?

I do not know for sure but I will try an offer a suggestion.

Our bodies restore itself with sleep each night. WE NEED SLEEP. But not only lying in bed but a deeper sleep called REM and NREM sleep. If we do not get this sleep, everything that we experience during the day which is in the brain is smashed and our brain feels very bad the next day.

anxiety, health issue, ( could be lots of things ), drug reaction and need for meds adjustment? Get it checked out and get a referral to a specialist if you have to. Neurology and health issues are nothing to ignore or "wait to see if it goes away". keep us posted on how you are doing
