I agree that anger is something that wells up and comes out. I don't know of a way to channel it. I think it's possible to prevent it to some extent by thinking about things in a more philosophical way and not letting them get out of hand so that they turn into anger. I don't know, I can do this somewhat now that I'm older, but I don't know if I could have when I was younger.

I think this ties into "the best revenge is success". So, make them jealous by doing something great or noteworthy.
For me focusing on anger just creates more anger. Anger is more or less the same as stress, it's a poison to the body. It can lead to weight gain, high blood pressure, sleep issues, and weaken the immune system. I try to let things go and move on as much as possible.
