I can't stand the way my voice sounds on recordings compared to the voice inside my head. I sound frivolous.

Definitely my voice sounds like a little girl with a lisp. No one takes me seriously based on how my voice sounds :?

Yeah, I do have an unusually high, little-girl sounding voice. Is that an AS symptom?

I've rather low voice, what a pity, I'd love to have a high voice.

I have a low voice too (low for a naturally female). I like me voice, because my ears tend to protest about high pitched voices, but it's seriously annoying that the normal human ear has a problem hearing low sounds.

People have trouble listening to me, although I speak loudly.

I have a somewhat high-pitched voice. People on the phone have occasionally thought I was female (I'm male).

Well, people sometimes think I am like in my 20s. At least it is obvious I am male. I just found out yesterday that they think I look like I am mid 30s tops! I am older than that.

I have a pretty deep voice. It definitely sounds very weird in recordings, though. Something about hearing through your skull as opposed to hearing through your ear canal.

I have a raspy voice, and when I hear a recording it sounds like I'm talking through my nose. It is somewhat higher pitched than most men's voices, though, now that I think of it. If I'm talking to one of our birds, it goes way up into a Tweety Bird impersonation.

I have a weird voice. When I'm tired or stressed, it gets higher-pitched and I don't enunciate very clearly. Otherwise, it's a normal pitch, but there's just something weird about it. Other people have told me this too, so I know it's not all in my head. :D I also have a round face, a small button nose, and big eyes. I think this combination of traits could be the reason people think I'm so innocent . . . until they get to know me better. People also think I'm a lot younger than I am. I mean, I'm 28 and people think I'm in high school.

:D I have this little kid voice. I'm female and 25 but I sound like a 8-12year old girl. Very fustrated at times with it. But my friends are used to it. Mybe it's an ASD thing. Who knows.

My voice sounds very young, especially recorded. At work, when I used the intercom, it sounded like a six year old had taken over the store!

I have no clue if I sound younger but I remember my last bf saying I talk younger like in a little girl voice. WTF. So my voice changes when I get excited, that's what he was probably hearing.
I do talk loud though and I sound like I have an accent.

My voice is commented on all the time. I sound like a very young girl and usually people don't believe it when I tell them how old I am (48). I think it has to do with being a young person at heart.

Just for today, I will accept myself just as I am.
