Hi, Can anyone give me tips on how to manage things when NTs don't get it. I wear sunglasses pretty much all the time when out of the house. I can cope often at work, but walking around, going to appointments etc - people don't react well. Some govt departments and banks require you to take them off when entering.
Recently I was in the courthouse (trying to get legal information) and I set off the metal detector. I had failed to realise that I had a torch in my pocket. The guard was really rude and was very loud about telling me to take off my glasses which he scanned me.
How do others deal with stuff like this?
