A very odd and disturbing occurance right now on google. I tried to find comfort and couldn't. The kind of comfort I was seeking was the heart and soul kind. Compassionate, warm and loving. I tried entering those words and all I got in my results were Southern Comfort, hotels, motels, songs and religious sites. Very sad to see this. What keywords do i need to find some real comfort online?

I'm so tempted to suggest 4chan. In all seriousness, don't...

Search engines are literal, and can't read minds... yet. You have to tell it what BRINGS you comfort, and it will try to find it. Puppies, butterflys... the original Die Hard... hey, it takes all kinds, right? The end of that movie made me happy, what can I say?

LOL, I watched that last X-mas, being in an ornery mood. Love that movie!

In my opinion, if you're looking for real comfort in online forums, you're most likely not going to find it. You'll find places to vent, mostly.

It's amazing how you can find porn, violence and horror like that <snap> but finding comfort just doesn't exist. Maybe it needs to and is just waiting to happen.

If it were that easy to find comfort online, we wouldn't need therapists and antidepressants, now would we? Obviously something's wrong. :|

Sarah Mclachlan
Angel

Spend all your time waiting
For that second chance
For a break that would make it okay
There's always one reason
To feel not good enough
And it's hard at the end of the day
I need some distraction
Oh beautiful release
Memory seeps from my veins
Let me be empty
And weightless and maybe
I'll find some peace tonight

In the arms of an angel
Fly away from here
From this dark cold hotel room
And the endlessness that you fear
You are pulled from the wreckage
Of your silent reverie
You're in the arms of the angel
May you find some comfort there

So tired of the straight line
And everywhere you turn
There's vultures and thieves at your back
And the storm keeps on twisting
You keep on building the lie
That you make up for all that you lack
It don't make no difference
Escaping one last time
It's easier to believe in this sweet madness oh
This glorious sadness that brings me to my knees

In the arms of an angel
Fly away from here
From this dark cold hotel room
And the endlessness that you fear
You are pulled from the wreckage
Of your silent reverie
You're in the arms of the angel
May you find some comfort there
You're in the arms of the angel
May you find some comfort here

It's Sarah McLachlan and she's singing "Angel". That was beautiful.
