It is the best book I have ever read that logically explains the world we live in and why we perceive it as we do. It's focus is on the sense of "self". I have given this book to over 20 people and those who appreciate it the most are my aspie friends. Try it you'll like it. I really recommend reading it with a friend so you can discuss the ideas as you go. It will turn your mind inside out and leave you with a better understanding of reality and your place in it.

I watched a few lectures of his; they were all quite fascinating and bizarre. I especially loved when he was talking about the states of things: how mats can be called "matting," and cats can be called "catting." So the catting is sleeping on the matting.

I'm not sure I could handle a book of his right now, but a friend of mine just bought a few. Maybe after he reads them I shall attempt.

Don't remember if I read the whole thing, but I know I have read parts of it - the book on the taboo of knowing who you really are.

:D I like that. Except... the cartoon's hair is not sufficiently wacky.
