Which one are you? I don't have any reason for believing birth order correlates to autism, it's more of a curiosity thing.
I'm the oldest of four, although I've been asked "are you the youngest" and "were you an only child" a number of times. :?

Adopted (first born of my biological mom probably), and in that adoptive family I was the youngest of two.

Wo bist du is my favorite one too, although there's so many good ones. I can't wait for the next studio album! :)
Dalai Lama is a great song too, although it's a weird name for the song. Why didn't they call it 'flugrekorder' or something? I did research on it and found out it's based on a poem by Goethe, but for some reason it reminds me of the Bermuda Triangle. :?

I've always wondered the same thing. I have no idea why they named the song dalai lama..

They should've named it Ins Verderben. Or something.

Yeah, I'm excited for the next album. I really would like them to release their next single...

Oldest of three. The youngest might have a slight bit of AS too, though that's not confirmed.

birth order correlates with something, i seem to remember.
I'm an oldest.

oh yes, answering questionnaires about behaviour, habits, attitudes towards, etc, playing MMORPGs, ( Massively Multi-player Online Role Play Games) on Nick Yees site " The Daedalus Project/Gateway". Apparently a statistically significant higher number of first borns answered the questionnaires over 3 years.
The question that i remember was being asked by Yee was whether this was because more oldest children played MMORPGs or whether it was because they liked answering questionnaires! I don't think Nick Yee ever got back on that one, but he was struck by the higher incidence sufficiently to ask people about why it might be so. Would be interesting if more WP members were too. It would suggest possible connections between the two populations or between tendency to answer questionaires and the two populations anyway!

I am one of two children, the oldest. I know this has had a good effect on my life and it's a long story of how and why.

I used to believe some of my problems were do to my being an only child. Frankly, I was DENIED a stable life for pretty much all of my life, but ESPECIALLY before 11. Starting at 6, supposedly the KEY time for social learning, I was NEVER at a school more than one year! My mother loved moving.

I'm an only child.

When I was younger, teachers and classmates would often ask how old my siblings were. I then told them that I don't have any. I have no idea why they asked me this question all the time.
