I like Tony Attwood's ideas. He seems to understand Asperger's very well.

Yay for Ana54! She did a great job answering her questions as well :)

Really interesting.

There is some html showing itself in a few of his replies, and there's a typo in one of his responses; where it should say "peers" and says "piers" instead.

Just thought you might like to know. :)

I really enjoyed reading these though. :D

Thanks lastcrazyhorn

One of my associated conditions being dyslexia can not always see my own errors, let alone others - so thanks for that, the Aspie in me still likes to try and be 100%

Think also sorted para.. could of been system upgrades effecting things - not too sure ! !!

This year sue larkey is to be presenting joint workshops with Dr. Tony Attwood. He is definitely one of the world's best speakers on Asperger's Syndrome! Tony is an outstanding communicator and brings the quality of compassion and technical background as a clinical
psychologist.

For more information on Dr. Tony Attwood and the best explanation of Asperger's Syndrome I have ever read, have a look at his new website www.tonyattwood.com . In his new book "The Complete Guide to Asperger's Syndrome" he writes:
"I usually say to the child, 'Congratulations, you have Asperger's syndrome", and explain that this means he or she is not mad, bad or defective, but has a different way of thinking'."

Workshop Topics: "Managing Challenging Behaviour in Children with Autism"
and "Strategies to reduce being Bullied and Teased."

Locations: Canberra, Adelaide, Hobart, Rockhampton & Sydney (Ryde). WE are hoping to come to Melbourne early 2009 so stay tuned.

Please pass this information onto anyone who would be interested to attend. As there is limited places and the sessions are already filling fast, please let us know asap if you want to reserve a place.

We are letting people who I currently keep in contact with via email know first. I will start advertise more broadly shortly, so please reserve your place asap.

Just go to www.suelarkey.com to download a registation form or email my sectretary to reserve a place
