Does anyone else get intense flows of thoughts and ideas about different things that keep them up at night. Not worrying thoughts but just intense thoughts.

Yes. And I know of at least two people (both with ADHD, neither one with AS) that have the same thing.

Yes. And they can go on for days, not just for a night.

Supposedly ADHD was ruled out in me. It's in the written med report anyway.

Days and days at a time. This is the second time I've gotten up tonight. I just can't stop the thoughts.

It doesn't happen to me nearly enough. Tonight, though, I've been at a very enjoyable social event for the first time in a while, so I am essentially on crack right now.

It used to happen to me a lot. Rarely does anymore. Only when I've been having an EXTREMELY social week/night, which means I'm probably intoxicated also. I can't imagine sleeping would be easy, if I weren't exhausted already.

Definitely! I sometimes find my thoughts drifting back and forth through politics, art, quantum physics, biology, poetry, etc, etc. all in the name of reaching some fantastic conclusion about the universe and life itself...but then my alarm clock sounds and i lose my train of thought.
