...that maybe having social phobia and just being really shy my whole life has prevented me from getting diagnosed or held symptoms in?\

i almost never talked to my parents growing up and just kept things to my myself. Is it possible that nobodys ever said anything to me because of that.

I've thought about that too. I keep a lot of things to myself. The people who think that I'm "weird", in fact, don't really know how weird I can be. Most people will not tell you "Hey, you look autistic" unless you really look very autistic. And Asperger's remains relatively unknown to the majority of the population. So it's possible that nobody said nothing to you because of that.

well, a lot of people would consider that entirely rude to make such a supposition. So unless they really know you, they're not going to say.
