Another method is to ask somebody else to fill out the quiz for you, with you doing any subjective questions that they can't observe (like "I feel" or "I think" things). That way you can eliminate the effect of poor insight. Example; I'm not sure exactly how bad my social skills are--that's poor insight; comes from not being able to see myself "from outside", through an observer's eyes. It's not too bad because I'm aware that I don't know; but not knowing, and not knowing that you don't know, can be a real problem when you're trying to understand yourself.

This is kind of where I'm at at the moment.

I seem to get conflicting opinions from different people: not helpful.

Sometimes people say that there is an issue.
Other people don't want to change me.

What should I do then?

It's like I'm a goldfish and I want to study goldfish, but I'm the only goldfish in the goldfish bowl I really know of at the moment.

Now that I'm more into my normal (autistic) mindset, I took the test again, answering VERY truthfully, and this is what I got:

This is probably as accurate as it can get.

I've taken the quiz twice. first time I got an aspie score of 144 and NT 64(?) and second time I got 149 and 56. It was only in the space of about 2/3 months aswell. Oh s**t I'm getting worse although my score would've haver been higher when I was a kid though, probably 150/60 something.

When I took mine, I accounted for the fact that some of the issues I used to have as a kid I don't anymore (the sensory ones, for instance) by answering "sometimes."

I think "hunting" is how you approach things around you, what it is that catches your attention in things around you. For example, having fascinations with certain things, and the way your brain is able to process information. It's not literally "hunting", but I guess it's like hunting with your mind. While perception is in terms of how you feel things, hunting is what you make of things and in what way you do that.
