I think "hunting" is how you approach things around you, what it is that catches your attention in things around you. For example, having fascinations with certain things, and the way your brain is able to process information. It's not literally "hunting", but I guess it's like hunting with your mind. While perception is in terms of how you feel things, hunting is what you make of things and in what way you do that.

Thank you very much, now I see the connection.

Kind regards
Aldebaran

I cant remember my exact score, it is posted in the other thread that i am too lazy to go and check right now, but it was in favour of AS.

Something like AS ~125/ NT ~85.

I redid the test later on and skipped a few questions and i got a significant drop in the scores (both AS and NT). Then (being the science geek i am) i took the test again to see if the scores changed when i filled in more questions and it did increase.

So what to make out of this? Probably that you probably get a more precise score if you answer all questions and do not skip questions or go "neutral" too much.

I don't remember exactly but my Autistic was in the 130s and NT was around 63 - it said I am very likely an aspie - which I am as I'm diagnosed.

177 aspie - I think 23 NT. I would have scored higher when I was younger probably.

The 'hunting' thing intrigued me, I was really odd as a child in that I used to stalk things all the time...even other children sometimes, which didn't help with the social interaction I guess! Not that they often realised.
If I caught anything - I did catch animals, birds, fish quite often - I wouldn't hurt them, just liked touching them or looking at them and would let them go. Animals are pretty relaxed around me anyway.
One of my favourite games was stalking lambs in the fields whilst they were sleeping, pick them up and sit and cuddle up with them for a while...they would usually go back to sleep!

I used to spend hours in the woods on my own tracking stalking and observing wildlife.

Became a veggie at 12 years old when I realised they were 'like me' - and that I related better to other species than my own.

Just thought it was another of my personal wierdnesses :)

I took this really helpful quiz (on the other hand, viewing the breakdown of the quiz itself was a little confusing since I'm not a psychoanalyst expert). My results were --

Aspie score: 185 of 200
Your neurotypical (non-autistic) score: 16 of 200
You are very likely an Aspie

I don't like that is says very likely. That suggests in part that I am not an Aspie. But the high score would suggest I do have Asperger's.

A question -- were there other quizess besides the main one? I see other people have expressed their results in more detail. All I saw was a sort of chart and breakdown of each question, and none of it made sense in layman's terms.

OK, I've been officially diagnosed twice by professionals, and I've taken this quiz twice. I got this --

Your Aspie score: 186 of 200
Your neurotypical (non-autistic) score: 15 of 200
You are very likely an Aspie

Not much difference between the two I think. Second time I believe I scored higher on the AS spectrum.

This board I found out won't let me post the pic of my results to prevent spamming since I am a new member. Oh well.
