Well, I think it's garish, and I think that ribbons are overdone these days, but my only real objection is that it is a symbol chosen by others and not by us. I have no idea what kind of symbol we might use if we ever agreed on one (big "if" there). Maybe we should just stick with being invisible for now, since that's more accurate at this point.

I don't think they could ever come up with something that would please everyone.

Have a picture of kitties, and the dog lovers will be offended ;)

I like it and have one on my car. I hope that it inspires dialogue. Sometimes it does. Plus I love rainbows

I love rainbows and bright colors. I was upset when I learned as a teenager that the rainbow represented gay people, a group I was not a part of. I was happy when i learned a few years ago it also represented autistic people, a group I am a part of. I dislike the puzzle piece ribbon, however, for two reasons:

1) It reminds me of autism speaks. Although they use a single blue puzzle piece, it still reminds me of them and it make my blood boil.

2) I hate the whole ribbon thing in general. I'm glad that those stupid "cause" rubber bracelets finally went out of style, but I'm sick of seeing damned ribbons on peoples cars as bumper stickers and on products in stores, and pretty much everywhere. The only awareness these things bring is that the world is full of people who like to advertise, "hey! look at me! i'm a good person because i support this cause!"

I second that notion. I really like this. I would like to make a shirt out of it.

i like the colors used for the ribbon, but i dont like the ribbon idea. trite.

I also think the puzzle pieces give out the wrong message. Its only a puzzle to those who arent autistic. I know it was meant that every person has their place. if thats the case, lets just use tetris pieces.

I like rainbows too. How come gay people get all the fun stuff? I like rainbows so much i had one tattooed on my hip. and i'm not even gay.

The spectrum image is nice. It makes more sense than puzzles to me. For some reason the combination of red and blue is the part i like the most.

We should make a different puzzle piece ribbon for NTs. They're sure a puzzle to me. If they're allowed to make ribbons about us, we should be able to make one about them. It seems fair.

I find it to be a little intense and distracting... there was a logo/design that appealed to me; found it: http://www.autismlinkstore.com/index.as ... &ProdID=72

A little more subtle, layered... just works better for me.
