It is not up to anyone to decide on whether someone lives or dies. What if someone decided to kill all people with Asperger's? Would that be ok? People with asperger's could just as equally be viewed as "bad genes"by someone else.

But tolerating brutality has cost us lives and quality of life. Are we willing to continue to pay with our blood to allow the people who torture and kill us to continue in comfort, or to continue at all? Every time we let things happen, we bleed and die.

Yeah, let's sterilize everyone who might become a criminal someday.

I can't believe how long I've overlooked this topic. I was so unaware of what's been going on it's amazing. What a sad story.

Just one question, what was William Freund's username on here?

It can be up to someone to dicide who lives or dies, but it is a responsibility that cannot be taken lightly. Killing over some failed romantic interest is appaling. However, let's go back to your model of someone trying to kill everyone with AS. You could justify making a unilateral decision to kill this person because that would be by far the lesser of two evils because that would save lives. However, you would have to be sure to minimize the loss of life as well as other immoral/unethical acts committed in the process of carrying out the assassination, or you risk losing your position of moral superiority.

They're all gone for right now. Some may be put back later.

And none of the posts were deleted. We don't ever delete posts. They were moved to the Mods Forum.

. Maybe some aspies have trouble knowing if someone is their friend or not

I find that I can tell rather quickly if someone likes me or dislikes me. The problem is a matter of scale -- I can't tell HOW MUCH they like me or dislike me unless I'm told in plain English. Someone might find me uninteresting but I'll think they hate me, or vice-versa. Conversely, there are times when people find me mildly interesting and I think thet are stronly attracted or vice-versa.

How many people really know what they feel?
