BBC have a radio programme about prosopagnosia (trouble recognising faces) and their opposite, the super recognisers. It is quite interesting (I'm listening to it now) and you can listen to it here:

It would seem that there is quite a wide variation in abilities. There are also some really good links at the bottom of the page.

I'm interested in this condition, I don't have the full blown face blindness but I suck pretty badly at remembering faces. I was once introduced to the same girl three times and didn't realize who she was...

I just took the Cambridge Faec Memory Test. I scored a good bit lower than average.
