Alas... my baby-face has finally vanished.
From puberty until 40 I apparently looked noticeably younger than I really was.
(Despite my hair starting to turn white at 26)

Strangely... I never got asked for ID at a pub until the day I turned legal age.
(That could be because I was 6'6" at age 15 8) )

I can still pass for under 40.... but what's the point?...lol

Not now gray hair getting hold but I do tend to dress a bit like a teenager. I guess I am going a bit of a mid life crisis.

i'm 22 and often get mistaken for being between 12-18. all the time, at school, people keep asking me if i'm a freshman.. i keep having to tell them i'm a 3rd year, and they're always suprised.

ironically, when i was 12, and my mom was going to community college, i was in the lobby there doing homework and had someone mistake me for a college student.. maybe they thought i was a child genius?

but now that i'm a college student, i get mistaken for a 12 year old!!

I'm twenty-one but everyone swears I am sixteen. I have to show my I.D. all the time.

I'm 26. Most people guess me to be 16 or 17. A couple people said 12, but I'm sure that had to have been an exaggeration. I've never met a 12 year old that's 5'9.

In all fairness I certainly act like a child, so I'm sure that could add the general perception that I'm a minor.

yes, which is quite nice.

Someone once told me I was very child like. I took it as a compliment.

Possibly a scruffy chubby teenager with circles under the eyes....Alot of for me is more in my behavior and voice...and possibly the way I dress...

This is the most recent untouched photo of me..probly taken yesterday...

i have shocked quite a few people by telling them my age. What's funny is when a much younger person will start acting differently towards me after I tell them my age

Of note, no matter how high or low-functioning someone with an ASD is, they'll show little or no facial expressions throughout their life. This can equate to less wrinkles/lines on the face, which can make someone look younger. And not to mention the socially immature behaviour that's common.

These are the two biggest factors in making someone look younger than what they are.

That's what I tend to attribute it to.

I'm 26 and I still get carded when I go to buy a lighter, which you have to be 18 to buy.
