Clonidine?

Has anyone ever taken Clonidine to help with tics or anything else? I generally hate being on medication because it is so difficult to remember when to take it, but my tics have really been troublesome lately, and I've been considering seeking medication. It looks like Clonidine has some other uses as well, for instance for ADHD (which would help me), sleeping (yes again), and anxiety (definitely yes). If people have had positive responses to it, I might pursue this.
