I tried to fuse the criteria of the DSM, ICD and of Gillberg's and Szatmari's. A first try. I'm open to pointers on things I have forgotten or added multiple times.

If you have AS, this list is a collection of traits you could have.

Which traits do you have?

Let's compare. See different versions of the spectrum.

5. socially and emotionally inappropriate behaviour sometimes, but the NT definition of inappropriate most of the time makes little sense to me (ie. why is crying in public inappropriate? don't NTs get upset sometimes? are we supposed to run home if we are having a bad day and need to have a bit of a cry? stuff like that)

2. one-sided responses to peers -- one sided being mostly 'their' side if that counts
3. inability to interact with peers -- unless its led by them and not left up to me

5. socially and emotionally inappropriate behaviour -- So im told...
6. a lack of spontaneous seeking to share enjoyment, interests or
achievements with other people -- Il usually only tell them about stuff like that if they ask...

The seeming paradox is because I can talk a persons ears off about an interest, but am often the one that just stays silent. One customer practically BEGGED me to be more vocal.
