I don't like sweet things that are also not tart. Mangoes, cherries, very good sweet tart apples (Pink Ladies), tomatoes, avocadoes (think the last 2 are fruit). If I eat mangoes, it's as an accompaniment to a savory dish. I especially like sour fruit. I eat Umeboshi, which are a bizarre salt, sour, acidy pickled plum from Japan.

Apples, but green ones. And green kiwis. And green pears.
Don't worry, I'm not obsessed with green, I like pineapple too :D(find a green pineapple that is edible and I'll get you an half Franc CFA)

Hey, my favorite apple. I'll eat Granny Smith too.
I like tangy/ sour fruits, but even then I'm weird about it. For example, I like grapefruit and limes quite a lot, but don't care for oranges or lemons. Love pinapple, muscadine grapes, blackberries......

I hate bananas, or anything banana flavored. Don't like peach or kiwi flavored things, but will occasionally eat the actual fruit.

eeew, please. I can't eat anything that's been touching cardboard or plastic for a longer time. which is the case with microwaveable dishes.

I'm attracted to all seasonal fruit. I only hate pineapple- the texture of it is just so off-putting, eeew!

Mmm... So hungry.
I like most kinds of fruit. I especially like the organic fruits that I can't afford.

I believe that human beings are attracted to brightly coloured fruit.
It's probably part of our gathering instinct.
Most of us see in vivid colour.
Our closest living relatives that we know about, chimpanzees, are attracted to bright colours because they associate bright colours with the fruit they need to eat to survive.

I speculate that human's desire to prospect for/buy brightly coloured/shiny gems is an extension of our fruit gathering instinct.

Why is it hilarious? :?

I was just making an observation and hypothesis based what I know.

When I walk round a supermarket these kind of thoughts fly around my head all the time.

I also notice how the juvenile humans are attracted to brightly coloured packaging with friendly cartoon animals on the front. The young human's desire to obtain the free toy in the cereal packet is an extension of the gathering instinct. People the human is too young and small to reach the cereal packet, the juvenile pleads with with the parent.

I've seen this pleading/whining behaviour to obtain food/items from parents in juvenile Herring Gulls also.
