Just an FYI (not that anyone in particular would care)

I'm getting screwed over by Qwest, and they will likely be disconnecting my phone soon. I've already received a disconnect notice.

They're the only company that deals with this town, and I'm not paying this $100 bill when I was promised a resolution by their loyalty dept. which never came to fruition. A long, illogical call to their useless and annoying customer service (complete with mindless Xmas muzak&ads) accomplished nothing.

If I want to check my email I'll have to cycle a ways in the snow to a hotspot, assuming they have it on. I haven't received a personal letter or message in months, so I doubt I'll bother.

That really sucks. And a router wouldn't much less expensive. That really sucks.

Hope you can figure something out or that the phone company stops being idiotic in lieu of the Christmas spirit.

I have a router, and I could make another using components if I needed.

What I lack is a reasonable provider.

I don't need a phone (nobody has called me in years), I don't need a billion BS FCC charges, I don't need any added frustration...

Whatever, everything else is going downhill, no reason to expect this to be any different.

I would hate to see you go. I hope things work out. If not, I wish you well in the future.

Ah yes, Qwest. I remember them well. Had them when I lived in Santa Fe. They were so sweet...
