Anyone ever feel they are more in touch with their inner child so to say. What I mean by this would be, do you often feel more like a kid in some aspects of your life? I have noticed that with a lot of things in my life I feel much more like my 5 yold brother should than what I should, and don't know how to express things related to such parts of me without sounding like I'm 5, so I avoid talking about it. An example would be fear while I am experiencing it. While at the dentist getting my first filling this year, I actually had my dad talk me through it, and most of my comments I would expect my 5 yold brother to say if he had to get a filling.

I'm still pretty young, but I definitely don't feel like I'm twenty yet. (Dang, I was just fourteen! What happened?) Anyway, I think it's safe to say I had a longer childhood than most people and since I'm small and I look younger than I am, that just makes it a whole lot easier for me.

Definately :)
Some of my favorite things to do are watch Disney movies, sing Disney/Barney songs and play board games and puzzles!
I love stuffed animals and toys and cartoons too.

I have noticed I feel even more like a kid since accepting my diagnosis.

I asked some of my classmates if I acted like a child, and they said I did.
I'm forever stuck in a child's mentality.

In some ways I've always felt a lot younger than other people of my age; in others, a lot older.

I'm just a very intelligent, sexually expressive, yet reserved and totally goofy, bounce around and totally love life, or cry terribly when I am sad, 5 1/2 year old who has tendencies to "act" 55 on occasion, and act it very well. Riiight.

We are awesome, just the way we are. It was known and said by my psychologist that this is normal for us. Or is it psychiatrist. I never remember.

Yeah, how normal?

HEY, some say 40 is the new twenty, so you're not that much younger than I am!

Seriously though, 20 is about the time when people start figuring you are more a young adult than an old child. Not a teenager anymore! Welcome to the club!

And I may be over twice your age, but I STILL remember what I was like, etc... at 5! And I wouldn't mind being a kid again. Man, where did all those decades go?

I don't think I'm emotionally mature enough for my age. My psychologist was talking to me about the emotions of a 5 year old and I could relate to it. You know, if someone is angry then they will think they are angry at them.
I love Cartoon Network and all those channels made for kids. My mum always rolls her eyes when I say 'I wanna watch Ben 10'.

I look very young too and get mistaken being between 12-16.

I wish I was a kid again, when boys were icky and socialising never was a big deal to me.

Yes, I still love 'childish' preoccupations, and when I think of 'adults' I do not really feel like one.

I love stuffed animals, too. Especially if they squeak when you squeeze them. :D It then feels like I am still 5 years old.
