I used to have problems sleeping. One of the things I found that helped me sleep better was to quit making my bed. When I try to sleep in a made bed, I feel trapped. I hate the feeling of being trapped. I also feel somewhat guilty of unmaking a bed so I can sleep.

Heh, I get that sometimes if I'm at a hotel or something - don't feel guilty about unmaking it though! Not often as my bed at home only has a duvet not a "flat" sheet to cover.

I think my current sleeping difficulties are either intractable insomnia or anxiety-related. Last night I went to sleep at 10:30 pm, and then woke up at 1:30 am. Have a huge day ahead of me. Ew.

I have had sleeping problems for a long time. And I cannot get under the blankets until the lights are off, not even a night light can be on. :?

When I fall asleep, without making a conscious decision to (make my bed etc.) and just drift away, while reading something, I tend to have the best nights sleep. It's like my mind, becomes nervous when there is a pressure to sleep, due to the ritualistic behaviour pre sleep.

I have had problems sleeping most of my life, either due to excitement because of something fun the next day, dread of something unpleasant the next day (usually work lol), or because of my libido (a really nasty and chronic problem for me).
