I'm convinced Zyborg is a very successful satirist. No single person could be that insane.

On WP, everything is possible. Cyborgs are ok. I'm a cyborg but that's ok.

Edit: Actually,

Aspergians who claim that we need neurotypicals to function. Aspergians who claim that Aspergians could not organise society. Aspergians who claim that we who are proud of being different are "elitist".

Could you not see what you are doing for yourselves and others? You are defining yourself as class B persons, not class A persons. That is sick and perverted way of thinking. You should be ashamed of yourselves.

Nowhere near that genetically different. Personally, I think all the genetics for AS are present in NTs; it's just that they don't have as many of them. The variable expression of AS, and the existence of the many NTs who have AS traits, seems to point to some sort of shared genetics rather than some simple brown eyes/blue eyes thing.

How about neuro-rational vs. neuro-neutral vs. neuro-mindlessfollower or something like that. Those in the middle, who can be both rational AND social would be the "neutral"?

That reminds me of an old Star Trek episode with the Changs vs the Yangs. "Yangs are for killing, not for talking."

Define "insane." Krishnamurti said, "Being well-adjusted to a profoundly sick society is no measure of health."
We need to grope around and find our own definition. And this is how to do it.

AS isn't that amazing.

Neither is neurotypicality.

2 cents.

It's Malay, honest. :P Although that being a lot further south does actually work with your point, I think. :D

Self-hatred happens in all areas of life. It is not confined to people on the autistic spectrum. The fact that you love having Aspergers doesn't mean that everyone else will.

But why do you care so much about how other people see themselves? And do you think you can cure people of self-hatred by telling them that they should be ashamed of themselves and their sick perverted way of thinking? I don't quite see the logic in that approach.

Personally, I'm okay with the fact that the autistic spectrum is a very broad one and that not everyone with Aspergers is the same as me.

Would you prefer "those of us suffering from Asperger's Syndrome" instead?
