Hey, check this out. I created my own website along with a very long essay I wrote. It is long, but well worth the read. It helps people understand autism more. I included some of my own experiences in it and also the general characteristics of autism/aspergers.

If you took some time to read at least some of the essay you are free to go to the comment section as well.

I hope you enjoy! :D

That was incredible.
It explains everything very well.
Is there any way to get school credit for that?
It looks like about twelve pages, with almost no spelling or other errors.

One thought: I would take your name out of it for now.
I think you should get some opinions and think about it for a while first.
At WrongPlanet, it's not a problem, but I don't know how others would react.
It has a lot of very personal stuff.

Thank you. I don't think anybody would mind, after all; the point of the essay is to help others understand.

Excellent reading. This is exactly the type of thing needed. The harsh reality is, most of what we read/hear about these days has been written by people who either;

1) Don't even have aspergers/autism
2) Work for scientific/medical research getting their data by (comparing and generalizing)
3) Think they can offer assumptions by theory, science and observation
4) Or just don't understand

I think it's important for more information to be produced by people who actually have it. This is a good start. I think to assume the opposite to what people actually experience (as in reality) is ignorant and undermining.

For what reason are you trying to keep this thread alive?
