Mine:

1) Give up smoking (I'm doing well - haven't had a cigarette since last year)
2) Get a handle on my other addictions.
3) Accept what I cannot change.
4) STRESS LESS!

What are yours?

Lol they say new year's resolutions are merely a to do list for the first week of January but I thought I'd give it a go.
*I want a cigarette

1. I MUST lose weight. I'm up to a size 38 in pants. And I'm only 5 foot 5.

2. Try to get my finances in order

3. Maybe try to take a course toward my Master's. I have 9 credits towards my Master's--though I haven't gone since 2009.

4. Try to be a better person in general.

- Lose weight
- Save up my money and be sparse with spending
- Be more positive thinking
- No more paying attention to stuff I don't like
- No more fast food
- Try to take better care of my teeth

There are probably a few others, but those are the main ones.

This is my first year without specific new year resolutions.
I'll continue focusing on my health and maintain the good habits I formed this year, thats all.

I haven't made any in years, but I suppose it's about time:

- Think harder before speaking.
- Stress less (and I'm not even a person who stresses often)

Just went and burned my cigarettes (in the fire, not in my mouth). May be a bit high on nicotine fumes. Think I'm becoming a pyromaniac. No worries, can make a resolution to stop burning things next year :D

Continue on with doing all of the things that make me bigger better faster stronger happier healthier & wealthier.

Follow through with some learning more skills & actualizing some small business/investment plans that are all the next steps in my career & financial plans.

Carry on with my to do list of projects in my spare time. Next up I'm going to make some very simple kite boards to try out various sizes and shapes on the cheap this coming season. I've also got a long reading list of books to carry on with reading.

I suppose everything is just a continuation of what's working vs. true resolutions… the only really different thing I intend to do next year is start dating & see if I meet anyone I click with for a relationship beyond a one night stand or FWB.

Go to the gym at least twice during the week.
Cut down on alcohol - limit it to Friday and Saturday.
Keep the above going for the full year 2015.

Good luck to everyone who has made a resolution!

- I have list of books, movies, and games I want to read/watch/play
- Catch up on some more tv series
- Worry less about what people think of me
- Stop procrastinating at school so I can get at least a 3.5 GPA
- Stop procrastinating all of my new year's resolutions and do them

I really like this post. It's so inspirational! Thanks OP.
