I never knew what the word or term "QUIRK" really meant or what this suppose to have meant that "People who are autistic are quirky".

I wanted to make this video not to only understand what QUIRK really means, I also wanted to explain this in my own words and define what makes me a quirky person. I had suggested that my quirks are influenced by sensory challenges and my sensory interest.

The sensory challenges are the clothes I wear, I only like hoodies, trackpants and regular t-shirts. On the other hand I have my sensory interest in visuals and sounds, the sensory visual interests is the animations I use in the video while the sensory sound interest is the music that I mix for my videos.

What are your autistic quirks?
What makes you feel unique?

I eat food sequentially. First all the meat, then all the carbohydrates, then the veggies and finally the drink. I hate when things get mixed up.

Doesn't make me unique though. Oh well.

I like to have everything very organized, I do things in a particular order, and I throughoutly plan most things out. I'm also quite observant and notice details other people don't, and will want to start with the details when I do a project (e.g. if I draw something I automatically do the details of the face first).

-I am unbelievably intelligent,
-My satire skills are unmatched in the universe,
-My humour is so sublime that virtually no one gets it,
-I'm a Hercules in bed, in my own mind.
-I am "The Oracle of Truth". It says so in my signature. 8)

What are your autistic quirks?
Quirks could mean many things in my own terms.
My own quirks?? I don't know.

I have a really wide range of personal states, yet all autistic.
And therefore I'm an autistic of varying kinds in one mind and body.

I could be the autistic who resonates with peace and order today, lax and carefree.
And I could be an autistic who resonates with vengeance and conflict, articulate yet ruthless tomorrow... Or an hour after.

What makes you feel unique?
Sometimes I care and jump to the question, sometimes I could care less and say it doesn't matter.

On which range to compare to?

Amongst autistics I'm already different.
I'm not simply talking about the uniqueness of individuality.
Amongst my environment, I'm a well received foreigner. Acceptance and affection, but no understanding.

Amongst humans, I feel "too human". I want to be a bit "less human".
Therefore I also had to be an "alien" in retrospect because no human would say they feel too human when being human is all they know. :P
Definitely no "dehumanized" human who fancies themselves as "alien" as a defences would ever say this either when they sought to be "more human" in the first place.

But how also could that I know that if I had lived as a human my whole life?

I learn at my own pace, and do better with just reading the text than going to class. I can look at a structure, and see what it takes CAD assistance for most, revealing weak points, flex, and wasted material. I also have an extremely keen sense for some kinds of BS.

I loathe the feel of water on my body. Bathing can be an ordeal and an exhausting one at that.
There's only a handful of foods that I'll eat.
I love order and get thrown off if I don't get it.

I don't know if it's AS related, but I feel like the only person who complains about the eye strain from grey-on-grey fonts. I also think that web sites that try to look like paper magazines and catalogues are ridiculous.

Most of my quirks seem to be ADHD-related.

One Aspie quirk of mine is that I am childlike sometimes (but not childish).

I start fights when someone spends time with me for too long.
I work faster than everybody else. Everything must be done by the end of the day.
I can only read books from the very first page until the end in that exact order.
I won't say "good morning" or "good bye" if I don't have to.
No grocery store without a list.
Gifted in fine motor skills.

The list goes on and on...

Good one. I never say "hello" or "goodbye". Never ever.

I suck in “fine motor skills.”

I tend to skip through books.

I only shop with a list if I have to.

People usually start arguments with me, rather than vice versa.

I greet people too often, if anything....

Yep....we are a Spectrum 8)

Hard to say, because there probably are a lot and some I don't really think about but the main ones would be:
-Need for routine or to at least know what is going to happen in the near future
-Having intense special interests or obsessions
-Sensory issues with clothes and texture issues with foods
-Needing a lot of quiet and alone time to do things related to my interests
-Wanting to have things in a specific order when it comes to stuff in my bedroom
