Hey, did anybody see: "Harry Potter: Behind the Making of Diagon Alley", last night? It looks very cool. You get to eat at "The Leaky Cauldron". Gringotts' Bank has a HUGE dragon on the top----and the chandelier inside is ABSOLUTELY UNBELIEVABLE!! ! The ride in the carts underneath the bank looks cool! They have the Hogwarts Express, complete with platform 9 3/4. They have an "Ollivander's"----and a whole bunch of other shops. The set designer (I think that's who it was) for the movies was the designer for Diagon Alley. They just kept repeating how important it was to be as specific as possible to the Harry Potter canon / movies. Can you imagine the money J.K. Rowling is making off of all her trademarks?? GOOD HEAVENS!! !

Oh, and there's a "Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes". Alot of the actors were there----but, disappointingly, they were not in costume. It was such a bummer seeing the Weasley twins with dark brown hair----and Malfoy with light brown hair. "Hagrid" opened the place with what he said to Harry in SS: "Welcome to Diagon Alley"----but, it wasn't any fun cuz he wasn't in costume. What were they thinking not having the actors appear in costume for the opening??? Then, they're gonna have these shows.... like, they've got Celestina Warbeck (Remember the singing witch Molly loved listening to----and, "Phlegm" [LOL] hated?), and she has backup singers, and everybody's costumes are horrible----ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!! !! Also, Celestina was black. I know it doesn't specify in the book, but in my head she was NOT black----Angelina Johnson is black----Lee Jordan is black----that's the way they're suppose to be. I HATED when Angelina wasn't black, in one of the movies.

It was hard to pay attention, sometimes, to Meredith Viera because she kept giving everything the British pronunciation. I know that Harry Potter is British----written by a Brit----takes place in Britain, etc., etc.----but, she was talking to an AMERICAN audience, and everybody's having a field-day about it, today. She kept saying "GRING'-getts", instead of "Gring-GOTTS'", for example. UGH!!

Anyway.....

Gring-GOTTS' (LOL)
