More often than not, I'll probably stay silent and polite. I'll occasionally put my foot down though.

Same question.

I'm hopeless at dealing with that sort of situation. On one occasion in the early 1980s I was among a small group listening to the opinions and reminiscences of a monumentally boring colleague after work in the staffroom. After about an hour, I was desperate to escape, and tried to slip down the stairs out of the room without being noticed, but the colleague spotted me and called out in a booming voice "We're not boring you, are we?" I think I muttered 'No' or something, which obviously wasn't the case. I still shudder when thinking about that to this day. Nowadays I just avoid social situations, so these matters don't arise.

Vladimir Putin or Kim Jong Un?

Kim Jong Un. I dunno, because he has fewer nuclear missiles and has invaded fewer countries.

Camping in a tent or in a campervan/RV?

Tent. I would like to try sleeping in a hammock one time in my life though, apparently if you master the technique of how to lie in a hammock (45 degree angle to the rope lines, I think) it is the best sleep you can get.

Toilet paper hanging direction - towards the user or towards the wall?

Already had Covid, or haven't had it yet?

I don't know.
I was really sick in January but the government decided no one was allowed to be tested.
Rapid tests weren't available yet.
We all had to stay home for a month and assume we had it.
I have no idea if it was Omicron or not.

Put my Christmas tree away now, or put up more baubles and enjoy?
(No, I did not put it away on the weekend as planned.)

^ Sorry to hear that, Isabella. You'd think that people with symptoms would be the main ones who should be tested.

As for the tree, if you leave it up for a couple of months, you can have an Aussie "Christmas in summer". :santa: :sunny:
But otherwise, I'll be that guy and say "time to put it away", mate.

Same question.

Well, July 4th is my mom’s birthday so if we remove it from history that would mean I wouldn’t exist, so.. New Years?
