Houghton, Michigan

I used to know someone who went to Michigan Tech in Houston. According to him, the town averages about 180 inches of snow a year. Ever since, I have thought that I would like to spend a year in Houston so I could see 180 inches of snow in one year. I don't think I'd like to see 180 inches of snow a year for more than one year, but it would be interested to see it just one year.

Yikes! You are right. Somehow I wrote Houston when I meant Houghton!

The funny thing is that I did live in Houston for several years and don't remember any snow there. I do remember one period of about ten days when it stayed below zero the entire time, but no snow that I remember.

Thanks.
