She did such a great job there! She was actually required to gain weight for the part because Joss Whedon wanted Kaylee to look like "a girl who enjoyed a cheeseburger once in a while." Most directors don't do that anymore. Kaylee was soo cute. I loved the episode "Shindig" where she got to wear a pretty dress to a big social event and lots of men were fawning over her because she's talking spaceship mechanics. ^_^

Yeah that was a great episode. And yeah I just absolutely loved the personality of the character. but yeah, she has a lot of the qualities i myself would look for in a woman IMO.

and hooray, found another joss whedon fan, love all of his shows with a passion, finished watching firefly again not to long ago, so now I'm streaming buffy the vampire slayer, which to be honest I think Allyson Hannigans character, willow, COULD be considered to be on the spectrum in some ways. (Yeah, I usually don't speculate at all, but willow really fits IMO)

why not have the movie take place on 'serenity'? we could be outcasts (typecasting) searching for a suitable vacant planet.
