^^ Canadianhood is an interesting thing. It is a young country (formally). Three of my grandparents were immigrants. The other line came here fleeing the American Revolution. I’ve had a pretty good life here.

In my case, my relatives there. I would certainly think far less often of the place it it weren't for them. And TBH I gave very little thought to Canada until I revived my relationship with them about 10 years ago.
