Yoghurt in my coffee
Coz the fridge is blown
Something green an mossy
started growing on the foam

I took it all apart
But I didn't get it right
I wasn't in the zone
And there wasn't much light

Yoghurt in my coffee
And it smells like sick
Cheesy little lumps
Getting stuck to my lip

Worse than butter
Cheesy little curds
Floating in my drink
Like little white turds

^^^i just threw up a little in my mouth.

I stare at my phone
I pitter and ponder
In the darkness alone
My mind does not wander

i just sit and worry
too lazy to scurry
tomorrow is here
and so is new fear
i don't know what to do
somebody knows, but who?
why can't i just go sleep
to the subconscious deep?
wish i was in heaven
where it's all "eleven."

Roses are red
I do not eat roasts
But I'm about to reach
Five thousand posts

How has it taken this long
For me to discover this thread?
Deep in my heart, a new song
Is raising its colourful head-

For I dream of a world where all can converse
In the finest, most flow'ry and fluorescent verse
And not be called "poncey" or "nose-in-the-air"
(A judgement I never found fair).

Becomes a symphony of artistry and flair
So liberate your syllables
And live a life of miracles:

There is a house in Milton Keynes

I am bad at poems

i'm not as good as i'd like to be.
i want folk to read this and say "gee."
this is the extent of today's rhyme,
i'd be rhymin' more but lack the time.

don't feel bad, english poet adrian mitchell said something telling about his field, "Most people ignore most poetry because most poetry ignores most people." what he was saying is that most poetry is hopelessly idiosyncratic, devoted to the thinking of the individual who wrote it and not often 100% accessible to most other people's understanding.

My poem was mostly in jest, but thank you so much for the kind words
