Posting gifs or other images!
You'll need to create an account on an image-sharing site: many are free, I use Imgur
This is necessary because images can't be saved on WP (apart from avatars).
Like the others, Imgur is dead easy to use.
So assuming you've uploaded an image there (just follow the prompts once you've created the account) - click on the image as shown in Imgur.
This will show something like this (it's an image I'd posted earlier in another explanation) - click on it to make it easier to read here, and use your browser's "back" button when done.
Next, click on the "Copy" button under "BBCode (message boards & forums)" on the right hand side. This will copy the link to the image on Imgur.
In your post, now paste what you'd just copied from Imgur (control-V is the usual key to paste something).
That should produce something like this -
If you now click on the "Preview" button for your post you should see the image inside it.
Other image hosting sites use something very similar.
Psh, 30 minutes.
