I rarely meet girls who like hot sauce but thetre nuts for chocolate. On the other hand I know guys that are indifferent to chocolate but love hotsauce.

Does Chocolate produce a similar endorphin rush in women as Hot Sauce does in guys?

Should I move this to the science forum?

I'm nuts about them both, and I'm a guy. Even more than hot sauce though, I put ridiculous amounts of fresh cracked pepper all over everything I eat. Then hot sauce on top of that. With chocolate shavings.

Somehow when it comes to women craving chocolate I have a scary feeling it's not a simple "yeah I could go for some Chocolate." :P

I have wanted hotwings when I was at a resturant. I have asked to eat at a resturaunt specfically for some wings but somehow I don't think it's the same as when ladies tell me they're craving Chocolate.

I there was a prohibition on chocolate would you get a "coco- pusher'"? 8O

Hmm. Interesting...I am a woman who doesn't eat or drink chocolate, but who drinks (no, literally) ALL hot sauces: jalapeno, chipotle, habanero, cayenne ( Tabasco sauce ). Orgasm does not come close to the total body rush of ecstatically hot peppers, flushing skin, tearing eyes, producing profuse sweating and nasal drainage---then at the peak of agony/ecstasy---frozen margarita with top shelf tequila! I am overcome at the thought, faint with desire. I think it may be related to the exquisite edge of the pain threshhold and perhaps testosterone/endorphins, but chocolate doesn't come close...MMMMMM 8)

I also love taking major mega doses of niacin for much the same reason: I love that out-of-body while completely in your body rush of The Flush---of course, as with so much else I do, it freaks people out. I turn Deep Scarlet and every single corpuscle itches with a maddening, delightful intensity.Alas, it fades too soon, but beautifully alive while it lasts...

Dont know what Niacin is.

I was at a greek resturaunt tonight.

Honestly I could live without sweet or hot. But I LOVE sour!

I used to drink the picle juice as a kid and suck on mustard bottles like they were baby bottles.
And God bless the UK for creating Salt and Vingar crisps!

Both hot sauce and chocolate are good. I doubt you should mix them though
Two good things don't necessarily mix well... as I learned that day with my vanilla icecream/Pepperoni pizza/Jelly bean smothie...

Niacin is vitamin B3.

I can't stand spicy food, it's one of the few sensory issues I have.

I like spicy foods to some extent, and all all chocolate except Dark. Hate the flat taste.

I also hate any spicyness besides very mild types. I luv chocolate, though.

I buy pickles for the juice!! I knew I couldn't be the only one: boy, do you get disconcerted looks in the supermarket parking lot when you frantically unscrew the lid and chug the brine before loading your groceries. ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS for hangovers. I HATE SWEET---it's too damned passive. Sugar is the crack cocaine of food. I don't think I'm any snottier then than my norm, which can be somewhat... :D
