...carbon, partially deteriorated vegetation, bacteria and other microscopic organisms, probably fragments of mica, quartz, and rhyolite and limestone... depending on the area from where you got the dirt, most likely feldspar, gypsum, and other soft, possibly igneous minerals and rock.
