When did you discover AS? always been odd as a child, knew i had some kind of autism by early 30s, officially diagnosed Aspie at age 42
Do you have other psych diagnoses? nope. i thought i was OCD but the psychs said nope, just typical Aspie obsessiveness which is slightly different from OCD
Do you have a degree? B.A. in music and fine arts, now working on M.Phil and going onto Ph.D in multisensory mixed media artistic forms
Kids? no thank you!! !
Favorite music, other than NIN - Bach, John Cage, Berio, Laurie Anderson, Tom Waits, Stravinsky, Debussy, Erik Satie, some Schoenberg esp. Pierrot Lunaire, Peter Maxwell Davies' "Eight Songs for Mad King" and "Mrs. Donnithorne's Maggot", Leonard Cohen, Gershwin, Cole Porter, George Crumb, some Brahms and Tchaikovsky for therapy moments... but no Wagner pleeeeease!! !!
