without looking at the article I can fairly safely say that you are missing the overweight bracket (25-29.9)
Since thats where I lie, thought I'd better tell you :)

Maybe, but I'm always going to be high on BMI scales because of muscle mass and bone structure. My torso is the exact same as my brother (6'2") and father (5'9"), but I'm 5'6". It's good for driving a race car, though (You sit higher in the seat without having to reach as far as a taller person, just look at Mario Andretti).

I replied but it ate my post. :o That calculater isn't really accurate. I had it done with calipers years ago when I was underweight. Now it shows "28.somthing" which isn't a poll option. I'm fat and big boned. I'm 5'5 1/2" and about 170 lbs or so.
Maybe I had my BMR done, hmmm.

Mine is 36. It isn't healthy, but it's what I have to work with, until I reach my goal weight. 8)

yeesh,"24.4".That's pushing it.For my frame I should really be lighter.I was underwieght for years, then started a regular fitness habit a few years ago and gained some muscle mass. But I've also gained some empty weight,so I'm not sure how much of each I'm carrying.

The score is valid for both men and women, but it may overestimate body fat in athletes and others who have a muscular build.

My answer is void.
I got 28.2 and I'm slender.

However, My body FAT index is 10% and in the "athletic" range.

Took me like 10 edited to fix it. You or someone else must have been trying to edit at the same time or it takes awhile for the poll to update.

not sure about my exact height so it's around 24.6-25, and I'm not a fat person.
