There is a deep and convoluted involvement with WP and AS. The seedy story goes back years when Alex sold his soul to the Judge Rotenberg Center.

Already have. Sometimes their ads show up here. EDIT: One just did, right after I posted this. Google Adwords will do that. It looks for keywords and displays ads relevant to the topic on the page. The more we talk about Autism Speaks, the more likely the ads will display.

The rumours are true to an extent as nat4200 pointed out. However usually once you start partnerships like that, they tend to grow.

A few years back Alex posted that he bought them. It was April First.

Everything in the Universe is connected, which can be fun at times.

When I bash Autism Speaks, or before when I supported them, I use their name often, which Goggle picks up, and runs an ad, so they pay for my bashing them.

Back in the day we used to donate money to Alex. After taking money from the likes of us, Autism Speaks money and ads, seems almost clean.

Wrong Planet has not changed. Autism Speaks has.

Autism Speaks chose wisely when they came bearing gifts to show their respect for Don Alex.

They started with a Media Empire, and a Half Billion ran through their fingers like dry sand. They made enemies, were hated. Good King Alex was a teen who started with nothing but vision, gained broad support, and built an empire. Nothing replaces Talent.

Autism Speaks is now very careful to show respect for all Autistic People. Everything offensive has been removed and apoligised for.

John Elder, Jack, Kristen and Alex are now on the inside, Autism Speaks has new goals and directions.

Change can be good.

Hmm not sure the "e" is the best letter to be replaced. The WP alien looks really awkward sitting atop the puzzle piece's tab, I think at best he/she/it could sit behind it with his/her/it's legs hanging down like so:

I'm considering leaving WP anyway becuase people haven't really been that friendly to me here, espicaly when I went by the name PunkyKat...some people were downright brual and mean.
